The problem

Why a brand-new domain has a hard first month

No history

A domain registered last week gives mailbox providers nothing to judge it by, so they watch it closely.

A slow ramp

Most senders spend 2 to 4 weeks warming up a new domain before real volume. That's common practice, not a published rule.

Start over

When a new domain gets flagged, you're back to day one with another new domain.

How it works

How buying an aged domain works

  1. 1

    We buy them at closeout

When an owner stops renewing an older .com, it goes to a closeout sale. We buy the ones that pass our checks. A closeout domain never lapsed, so its original registration date carries over.

  2. 2

You pick by industry and age

Filter by industry and availability, then sort by age, backlinks or authority. Names unlock when you sign in.

  3. 3

    You pay once

$49, $89 or $129, depending on the domain's age and links.

  4. 4

    We move it to you

Right after you pay, your dashboard shows each step, and we move the domain into an account in your name.

What the numbers mean
Age.
Years since the domain was first registered. We show the year too.
Backlinks.
Links from other websites pointing at the domain.
Referring domains.
How many different websites those links come from. Usually a better sign than the backlink count.
Authority score.
0 to 100. An overall measure of the domain's link strength.
Search volume.
Monthly searches for the domain's name as a keyword.

Link numbers come from third-party SEO tools, recorded on the day we buy the domain. For email they show the domain was a real, used website. They aren't a deliverability score.

Pricing

Three prices, set by age and links

Aged

$49 one-time

Younger domains, or older ones with few links. A good way to add sending volume.

  • Original registration date.
  • Blocklist and Microsoft 365 checks.
  • Moved to an account in your name at no charge.
  • Mailboxes can be set up on it.

Established

$89 one-time

At least 15 years old, or linked from 10 or more websites.

  • Original registration date.
  • Blocklist and Microsoft 365 checks.
  • Moved to an account in your name at no charge.
  • Mailboxes can be set up on it.

Veteran

$129 one-time

At least 20 years old, and linked from 50 or more websites or with an authority score of 10 or more.

  • Original registration date.
  • Blocklist and Microsoft 365 checks.
  • Moved to an account in your name at no charge.
  • Mailboxes can be set up on it.

Keep it with us for $29 a year, or move it to your own account and pay nothing more to us.

If you reserve a domain that's on its way to us and it never arrives, you get every cent back. Renewal is $29 a year, charged a week before the domain renews, and it stops the day you move the domain to your own account.

Our checks

Every domain passes these checks before we buy it

Spamhaus DBL
Spamhaus's domain blocklist.
SURBL
Domains found in spam emails.
URIBL
Domains found in links inside spam.
Microsoft 365
Not tied to someone else's account, so you can add mailboxes.
Three name reviews
Two of three AI reviews have to agree the name works on business email.

Each list has a free lookup page, so you can check the domain yourself after you buy. A domain can be listed later if it's used to send spam, so check again before a big send.

What "aged" means here

Closeout domains, not dropped ones

"Aged" gets used for two very different things. We only sell the first one.

Does age help?

Do aged domains help cold email deliverability?

Some. Here's what age gives you, and what's still on you.

What age can give you

  • A brand-new domain has no track record, so mailbox providers watch it closely. An older registration is a less suspicious place to start.
  • A shorter wait before you can send real volume, compared with a domain registered last week.
  • One outreach software company looked at 14.3 million emails from 1,785 domains. Domains 5 to 6 years old averaged a 34.9% open rate, against 21.6% for domains 1 to 2 years old. That's their own data and a correlation, not a controlled test. Read the study

What it can't do

  • Mailbox providers care more about how you send: authentication, complaints, volume and the quality of your list.
  • A domain that sat unused for years behaves a lot like a new one.
  • A domain with a spam history can start out worse than a new one. That's why we check every one.
  • You still warm it up. Nobody can promise an aged domain lands in the inbox, and we don't.

Warm-up times are common practice, not a rule set by the mailbox providers. See pre-warmed domains.

Why it's locked

Why the names are behind a sign-in

We paid for every domain on this page. If the names were public, anyone could copy the list, set up lookalikes, or try to resell them. A free account keeps the list for people who might buy. Age, links, scores and price stay public, so you can judge the stock before you sign up.

After checkout

What happens after you buy

  1. 1

    Right away

The domain is held for you, and your dashboard shows every step.

  2. 2

    We ask for two details

Where you'd like the domain moved. We show you exactly where to find them.

  3. 3

    We move it

We start as soon as we have your details. You accept the move, and the domain is in your name.

  4. 4

    Or leave it with us

Do nothing and we renew it every year for $29 on your saved card, a week before it's due.

If you cancel, you have 14 days to move the domain before it goes back on sale. If a payment fails while the domain is still with us, it goes back on sale right away.
